➢ It is a small perennial herb with a creeping stem.
➢ The stem grows horizontally on the ground, rooting at the nodes,
slender and reddish in color.
➢ The leaves are simple, growing alternately in clusters from each
node and have a long reddish stalk. They are round to kidney
shaped, with a cordate base and entire or round toothed margin.
➢ The flowers are arranged on umbel inflorescence, wherein all the
flower stalks arise from a single point, resembling umbrella ribs.
The flowers are small with five petals that are greenish white or pink
in color.
➢ The fruit is a brown ellipsoidal to globose cremocarp with
longitudinal ribs, that is, the fruit splits into two at maturity, each
half containing a seed.
