Nirbrahmi – नीरब्राह्मी
It is a small perennial creeping herb.
The leaves are simple, succulent and relatively thick, arranged opposite on
the stem. They are oblanceolate with entire margin.
The flowers are arranged on axillary raceme inflorescence. The flowers are
small with two linear bracteoles below the five sepals. The petals that are
white or blue or purple in color.
The fruit is a capsule that is narrowly ovoid in shape and surrounded by
persistent sepals. The seeds are yellow to brown in color and ellipsoid,
longitudinally striate.
